Payments, Commission and Direct Contact Policy
IndieDevHelp operates on a simple commission structure. A commission of 10% is applied to all work carried out through the platform. This commission covers the operation of the website, client management, ongoing improvements and general platform upkeep.
Experts agree that all client work originating from IndieDevHelp must be handled through the platform. This includes communication, quoting and payment. Direct contact outside of the platform with the intention of bypassing IndieDevHelp is not permitted. If an expert is found to be taking clients directly to avoid commission or platform involvement, their account may be suspended or permanently removed.
Clients are also required to respect this policy and must not request or encourage experts to take payment privately. IndieDevHelp exists to provide a safe, reliable environment for both clients and experts. Bypassing the platform undermines that trust and removes the protections we offer.
If a dispute arises regarding contact or payment taken outside the platform, IndieDevHelp may decline to offer support or intervention.
By using IndieDevHelp, all parties acknowledge that the 10% commission and the no direct contact policy are essential parts of maintaining a fair and trustworthy service.
